Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Pune invites a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support Leasing Advisory teams with market research, financial modeling, and strategic analysis. You will build dashboards, analyze market data and property valuations, and help shape client recommendations and portfolio strategy.

The role requires strong Excel skills, communication, and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced real estate environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of business analysis, financial modeling, or similar in commercial real estate.
• Strong Excel skills for financial modeling, forecasting, and statistics.

Business Analyst - Leasing Advisory

What this job involves:

As a Business Analyst within our Leasing Advisory team, you will play a vital role in supporting our brokers and clients through rigorous market research, financial modeling, and strategic analysis that informs real estate decisions of real consequence. You will collect, analyze, and interpret market data, property valuations, tenant demographics, and other real estate-specific information, using statistical tools and techniques to uncover insights that shape client recommendations and portfolio strategy. You will work closely with senior advisors, transactions, legal, and finance teams, learning the mechanics of leasing transactions while also bringing fresh analytical perspective to how we approach client challenges. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret real estate market data, property valuations, and tenant demographics using statistical tools and techniques
• Conduct research on market trends, competitive dynamics, and economic conditions affecting the real estate sector, staying current on industry news, regulations, and emerging technologies
• Maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor the City’s real estate portfolio performance and flag emerging trends to stakeholders
• Support financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting for real estate projects, including evaluating investment opportunities, ROI analysis, and feasibility studies
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and presentations summarizing insights and recommendations for stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Collaborate with transactions, legal, and finance teams to gather the data and information needed to complete analysis accurately and on time
• Analyze lease documents and abstract key terms to support negotiation strategy
• Assist in the preparation of request-for-proposal responses and client pitch books
• Participate in property tours and client meetings to deepen your understanding of the leasing process from end to end

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, financial modeling, or a related analytical role, ideally within commercial real estate
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to varied audiences
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all analytical work
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with real estate-specific software or platforms, such as Argus, CoStar, or similar market data tools
• Familiarity with commercial lease structures and leasing terminology
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards or KPI reporting using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and other presentation tools for client-facing materials
• Prior internship or work experience within a commercial real estate brokerage or advisory environment
• Knowledge of local and regional commercial real estate markets
