Job summary

Grow More Consultants in Gurugram seeks a skilled Business Analyst to join the IT Development Team. You will translate business needs into BRD/FRD documents and API requirements for travel-domain systems, collaborating with product owners and developers to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

The role requires strong SQL, API, and SDLC/Agile experience, plus hands-on work with travel APIs and Bitrix for requirement tracking and sprint planning. This is a full‑time on-site position.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years' experience as a BA in Travel Tech and/or FinTech.
• Strong BRD/FRD documentation proficiency.
• Hands-on SQL/MySQL: queries, joins, data validation.
• Solid API concepts and integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Experience with Bitrix for requirements tracking.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and travel APIs (Sabre, Amadeus, Tripro, etc.) for flight/hotel engines and fare workflows.
• Prepare and maintain BRD/FRD documents; define product features and user stories.
• Collaborate with product owners to define acceptance criteria and priorities.
• Work with development teams to implement secure, scalable solutions.
• Perform gap analysis between existing and proposed systems.
• Support UAT/QA with test cases, clarify requirements, validate defects.
• Provide API integration support: REST/SOAP, mapping, authentication.
• Write and execute SQL/MySQL queries for validation and reporting.
• Create data-driven dashboards to track KPIs; manage backlog in Bitrix.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our IT Development Team.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating business needs into clear functional and technical documentation. This role requires strong experience in BRD, FRD, SQL, API analysis and implementation, along with hands-on exposure to travel booking systems, GDS/API integrations, secure payment workflows, and Agile project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and travel APIs (Sabre, Amadeus, Tripro, etc.) for:
  • Flight and hotel booking engines
  • Itinerary management systems
  • Pricing, availability, and ticketing workflows
  • Payment, refund, and reconciliation processes
• Prepare, maintain, and update:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define:
  • Product features
  • User stories
  • Acceptance criteria
• Work closely with development teams to implement secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
• Perform gap analysis between existing systems and proposed business requirements.
• Support UAT and QA teams by:
  • Creating and reviewing test cases
  • Clarifying requirements
  • Validating defects and ensuring closure
• Provide deep support in API integration and implementation, including:
  • REST and SOAP APIs
  • Request/response mapping
  • Authentication and error handling
• Write and execute SQL/MySQL queries for:
  • Data validation
  • Reporting
  • Root-cause analysis
• Create data-driven reports and dashboards to track KPIs and identify improvement.
• Manage requirements, user stories, tasks, and defects using Bitrix.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies:

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Skills:

• 4-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Travel Tech and/or FinTech
• Strong experience in BRD and FRD documentation
• Hands-on experience with SQL/MySQL:
  • Queries & Joins
  • Subqueries
  • Data validation
• Strong understanding of API concepts and integrations, including:
  • REST/SOAP APIs
  • JSON/XML
  • Authentication (OAuth, API keys, tokens)
• Experience working closely with development teams on API implementation

  • Sprint and backlog management

Technical & Domain Knowledge

• Ability to perform impact analysis, dependency analysis, and change management
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, and Confluence

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile methodologies
