Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint and VBA.
• Strong SQL, Python and Databricks knowledge for analytics.
• Experience in financial services preferred.
• Knowledge of liability and asset products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide business reports for product suites (CA/SA/FD, third party, govt schemes).
• Liaise with IT, product and other teams for data needs and analytics.
• Analyze geography-level customer penetration across business lines and channels.
• Automate and standardize reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Create SOPs and other documentation to ensure consistency.
• Prepare monthly management reporting with data accuracy and integrity.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support business reporting, analytics, and performance tracking. The role will be responsible for generating actionable business insights, developing automated MIS and dashboards, and partnering with Product, Business, and Technology teams to enhance decision-making through data-driven analysis. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, reporting efficiency, process standardization, and management reporting.

• Responsible for providing business reports for various product suite available with the bank like CA/SA/FD, third party products, Government Schemes etc.
• Liaison with IT/Product/Other support teams for getting any additional information required for reports/analytics.
• Providing Geography level customer penetration on various business lines (e.g. mobile banking, net banking, UPI, Asset products, Transaction analysis) or any social platform provided by bank for transactions.
• Continuously automate and standardize reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Creation of standard operating procedures and other documentations.
• Liaison with product heads/managers on report requirements.
• Prepare monthly management reporting and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Required Skill Set / Education / Background

• Should be proficient in MS Office tools like MS Access, Excel, Power-point, VBA etc.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, Databricks is required and will be preferred.
• Candidate should preferably be from Financial Service Industry.
• Knowledge of Liability and Asset business is preferred.
