Job summary

EY is seeking a WAM Business Analyst to join its wealth and asset management practice across India. The role focuses on managing and delivering innovative solutions, liaising with stakeholders and leading technical teams to ensure successful delivery.

You should bring 3–8 years of experience in wealth or asset management, with hands-on exposure to portfolio accounting, data models, and front-office to back-office workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in wealth/asset management portfolio/fund accounting.
• Strong knowledge of asset classes such as fixed income, equity, derivatives across front/middle/back office.
• Exposure to portfolio management, trade execution, data control and operations.
• Understanding of data model and application/business architecture around the package.
• Experience understanding client requirements and streamlining them to the team.
• Ability to relate high-level business requirements to package capabilities.
• Review client processes and workflows and maximise benefits from the package.
• Good Leadership skills
• Excellent client-facing skills
• MBA/CA/CFA/MCA/ BE / B.Tech/ equivalent with 4 to 9 year’s experience

WAM Business Analyst

Experience : 3-8 years

Location- Bangalore, Noida, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Trivandrum, Coimbatore, Kolkata.

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for managing and delivering innovative solutions to the clients. Therefore, you must be flexible, adaptable and passionate about innovation. You will be responsible for liaising and managing key stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that the solutions are delivered successfully. The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working in Wealth or Asset management Industry in the areas of portfolio accounting / fund accounting
• Strong knowledge on various asset classes such as fixed income, equity, derivatives across front office, middle office and back office for either or both buy and sell side of business
• Exposure to portfolio management, trade execution, data control and operations and portfolio administration
• Should Posses high-level understanding of data model and application/business architecture around the package
• Good experience understanding client requirements and streamline them appropriately to the team.
• Understand high-level business requirements and relate them to appropriate package capabilities
• Review client processes and workflows and make recommendations to the client to maximise benefits from package.
• Good Leadership skills
• Excellent client-facing skills
• MBA/CA/CFA/MCA/ BE / B.Tech/ equivalent with 4 to 9 year’s experience

Preferred skills:

• Techno functional knowledge of Core Wealth / Asset management with good exposure to Aladdin platform from BlackRock OR Charles River or any other equivalent platform
• Exposure to Avaloq, Temenos, Simcorp or FIS Wealth management products
• Exposure to Charles River, Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM or other front office platforms
• Technical experience of working on data, understand relational data models, SQL queries
• Experience in any or more of Oracle, MS SQL, DB2 databases. Good data analytics skills
• Advance excel and VBA skills
