NextNation is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support decision-making through data analysis, reporting, and process improvements. You will build MIS reports and dashboards, analyze sales, operations, and financial data, and communicate insights to stakeholders.

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is essential, with Power BI/Tableau as a plus. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, documenting processes, and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, MIS, or similar.
• Freshers with strong analytical skills and relevant academic/project experience may be considered.

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support business decision-making through data analysis, reporting, process improvement, and actionable insights.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, and the ability to understand business requirements, analyze data, identify trends, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, analyze, and interpret business data from various departments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and business dashboards.
• Track key business metrics and KPIs.
• Identify trends, patterns, gaps, and opportunities from business data.
• Provide actionable insights to management to support decision-making.
• Prepare presentations and reports for management reviews.

Data Analysis

• Clean, organize, and validate data to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze sales, operations, customer, financial, and performance data as required.
• Create meaningful reports and dashboards using Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools.
• Perform basic statistical and comparative analysis.
• Monitor performance against targets and identify deviations.

Process Improvement

• Understand existing business processes and identify inefficiencies.
• Work with different teams to identify operational challenges.
• Recommend process improvements based on data and analysis.
• Support implementation and tracking of process improvement initiatives.
• Document business processes, workflows, and requirements.

Business & Market Research

• Conduct competitor and market research when required.
• Analyze industry trends and business opportunities.
• Support management with research for new initiatives and projects.
• Prepare concise reports with key findings and recommendations.

Project Support

• Support business and strategic projects from planning to execution.
• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance and prepare status updates.
• Identify potential risks or delays and escalation them appropriately.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data validation, and basic data visualization.
• Knowledge of Power BI / Tableau is an advantage.
• Ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful insights.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Good understanding of business processes and KPIs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
