Job summary

Moody's in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to drive requirements, document user stories, and manage stakeholders across business and technology teams. You will collaborate with product and delivery teams to translate needs into actionable specs and guide AI-powered initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience in business analysis, strong communication, and hands-on experience with AI tools to streamline workflows while ensuring ethical AI usage and risk-aware decision

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in a Business Analyst or equivalent role with a strong track record in business analysis, requirements gathering and documentation including user stories, stakeholder management across business and technology, identifying areas for improvement through business-driven solutions, and leading and managing product and platform implementation projects
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms for managing business requirements, user stories, and project documentation; intermediate prototyping skills are desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction and documentation
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and managing various stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements across business and technology teams
  • Ability to adapt to changing business environments, processes, practices, and priorities while managing multiple concurrent deliverables
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use. Knowledge and usage of generative AI tools in business requirements processes preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive product and platform implementation, manage requirements, and enhance content authoring and publishing experience through stakeholder collaboration, user story development, and strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and user needs
  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and specifications for the development team
  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, product strategy, and the project development team, ensuring requirements are communicated effectively
  • Work with product owners and development teams to prioritize and manage the product backlog
  • Participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions to ensure user stories are ready for implementation
  • Guide, mentor, and work closely with junior team members to ensure quality of work and adherence to delivery timelines. And assist in defining acceptance criteria and participate in basic testing to ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance business outcomes and ensure project deliverables are aligned with strategic goals

Skills and Competencies
