Job Description – Business Analyst (BI & AI)

1. About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst – BI & AI who can bridge the gap between business requirements, product teams, technology teams, and data-driven decision-making.

The candidate should have strong analytical and documentation skills, with hands‑on exposure to BI, AI, data visualization, and productivity tools. The role will involve understanding business requirements, converting them into structured product requirements, preparing BRDs/FRDs/User Stories, analyzing business data, and coordinating with cross-functional teams for successful implementation.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across Product, Development, QA, UI/UX, Support, Sales, and Business teams.

2. Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirement Management

• Understand business processes, user needs, and product requirements.

• Participate in sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, UAT, and product demonstrations.
  
• Track requirement changes and communicate their impact to relevant stakeholders.
  

Product & Process Analysis

• Study existing product workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
  
• Analyze business processes and suggest process optimization.
  
• Identify functional gaps and translate them into product enhancement requirements.
  
• Support product teams in defining new features and improving existing functionality.
  
• Ensure requirements are aligned with business objectives and end-user expectations.
  

3. Required Skills

Must Have

• 1+ year of experience as a Business Analyst / Product Analyst / Functional Analyst / BI Analyst.
  
• Strong understanding of business analysis concepts and requirement gathering.
  
• Good knowledge of BRD, FRD, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and process documentation.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good understanding of data and business reporting.
  
• Hands‑on exposure to at least one BI / visualization tool such as:

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Databases.

5. Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
