Job summary

Wilhelmsen is seeking a seasoned Chief Engineer for a bulk carrier. The role requires at least 12 months of Chief Engineer experience, with valid COE and STCW certificates in line with 2010 amendments. You must demonstrate a solid grasp of SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM and ISPS regulations and be fluent in English, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

The candidate will lead the engine room team, ensure compliance, and maintain vessel safety and efficiency on long-haul voyages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of experience as Chief Engineer.
• Valid Certificate of Competency and STCW 2010 amendments certificates.
• Strong knowledge of SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, MLC, ISM, ISPS.
