Job summary

Wilhelmsen is seeking a qualified SUPRAMAX BULK CARRIER / 2ND ENGINEER for Mumbai, India. The role requires at least 12 months as 2nd Engineer, valid COP and STCW 2010 certificates, and solid knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM and related regulations.

Strong English and leadership skills are essential to lead a crew on board. The candidate should demonstrate good interpersonal abilities and work well in a team, with the goal of maintaining safe operations and compliance aboard the vessel.

Qualifications

• Experience as 2nd Engineer minimum 12 months.
• Valid Certificate of Competency and STCW 2010 amendments certificates.
• Solid knowledge of maritime rules and regulations (SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, MLC, ISM, ISPS).
• Fluent English communication.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
