Job summary

Cundall Johnston & Partners LLP is seeking a Building Services Technician to join our Mechanical team in Chennai. You will produce BIM models and CAD drawings for all design stages, coordinating with multi-disciplinary colleagues to deliver high-quality, sustainable building projects.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and BIM modelling experience, with strong Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM360 skills, and a drive for efficiency and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering with BIM modelling experience.
• Experience with Revit BIM level 2 and 3D BIM modelling.
• Knowledge of ISO19650 standards and data management.

Responsibilities

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Building Services Technician to join the Mechanical team in our Chennai office and produce BIM Models & CAD drawings for all stages of design on some of the most exciting building design projects in the world.

As part of our established team of expert engineers and CAD/Revit technicians, and working closely with colleagues of multi disciplines , you will produce detailed 2D CAD general assemblies and will also develop design coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit into our current design practices.

The Skills

Having already been accredited with a relevant degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering and BIM modelling and having worked at BIM level 2, you have gained strong practical experience of using Revit in a similar building-based role, you are adept at planning and organising your workload and communicating effectively with engineering and AutoCAD specialists.

You have sound knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and BIM360, and have proven experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines, and crucially share Cundall’s passion for creative, sustainable, and intuitive design.

Knowledge working with ISO19650 standards and having datacentre experience will be an added advantage.
