Job summary

Hitachi Energy in India is seeking a Building Automation/Management System Engineer to analyze customer specifications and ensure the solutions meet requirements for HVDC projects.

You will design BAS/BMS systems, prepare technical specifications and detailed designs, and coordinate with Civil, MEP, Electrical and Mechanical teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions while following applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in Building Automation/Management systems.
• Knowledge of international regulations and standards.
• Knowledge of Building Management System and Remote Monitoring.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Mission Statement

The Building Automation/Building Management System Engineer shall Analyze customer specification to ensure Hitachi Energy solution meets the customer requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyse customer specification to ensure Hitachi - Power Grids solution to meets the requirements.

• You will bee responsible for designing the BAS/BMS system based on the specific HVDC and Customer requirements.

• You will be responsible for preparing technical specification documents, conceptual designs, detailed design development.

• You will be responsible for Producing, reviewing and coordinating technical information required with internal stakeholders, suppliers & customer.

• You will review of technical documents & drawings from vendors and sub supplier & Validate design confirmation to applicable regulations and technical specification.

• Perform Technical evaluation of price bids for procurement.

• Perform Planning and follow-up project activities & site activities.

• Technically coordinate with Civil, MEP, Electrical and Mechanical department.

• Coordinate with Project/Tender Team efficiently Identify the risk and opportunities effectively.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your Background

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in mechanical /electrical/Electronic Engineering.

• You should have 5 to 10 yr of experience in Building Automation/Management system.

• You should have knowledge in knowledge of international regulations and standards.

• You must have knowledge in Building Management System, Remote Monitoring

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
