Job summary

JobItUs invites applications for an experienced General Manager – Operations to lead end-to-end plant operations in Vadodara, Gujarat. The role requires 20+ years of senior operations leadership and a BE/BTech in Mechanical, Production or Industrial engineering.

You will drive fabrication, welding, and sheet-metal processes while steering capacity expansion and cost control. The successful candidate will manage cross-functional teams, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and deliver on-time

Qualifications

• 20+ years of managerial experience in heavy fabrication or sheet metal industries.
• Proven track record in plant operations and process optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end plant operations, production and manufacturing.
• Manage production planning, capacity, manpower and material flow.
• Drive radiator fabrication, sheet-metal processing, welding and assembly.
• Lead brownfield projects, plant expansion, machine installation and commissioning.
• Improve OEE, productivity, quality, FPY and operational efficiency.
• Control manufacturing costs, budgets, Capex and plant-level expenses.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, automation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety, statutory compliance and timely customer deliveries.
• Lead cross-functional teams and develop second‑line leadership.
