Job summary

Hexaware Technologies is seeking a Braze Technical Specialist to own the Braze architecture, data pipelines, and integration ecosystem across our marketing tech stack. You will serve as the internal SME on Braze, responsible for end-to-end Braze SDK implementations, REST API management, and identity resolution.

You will design scalable data models, configure and troubleshoot webhooks, and build real-time connected content to power personalized messages.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in marketing tech, solutions architecture, or software engineering with Braze specialization.
• Braze Certified Developer / Technical Specialist
• Deep knowledge of Braze Web, iOS, and Android SDKs including initialization and push token handling.
• Strong RESTful API, JSON, and server-to-server integration experience using Postman or curl.
• Expertise in Braze Liquid templating and Connected Content for API-driven personalization.
• Braze Currents data export to external data lakes.
• Able to translate technical constraints into actionable business solutions for non-technical teams.
• Braze Certified Marketing Specialist or Practitioner

Braze Technical Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Braze Technical Specialist to own the technical architecture, data pipeline, and integration ecosystem for our Braze instance. You will serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Braze platform, responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the Braze SDKs, management of REST APIs, data modeling, and seamless integration with our broader modern data stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the integration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the Braze SDKs across Web, iOS, and Android platforms in close collaboration with the mobile and frontend engineering teams.
• Architect and manage Braze REST API integrations. Configure and troubleshoot complex webhooks for bi-directional data flow between Braze and internal systems.
• Design and enforce a scalable data model. Define the schema and nomenclature for Custom Attributes, Custom Events, Purchase Events, and User Aliases to ensure accurate identity resolution and segmentation.
• Own the technical connections between Braze and our broader tech stack.
• Engineer advanced Liquid logic and build scalable Connected Content API calls to pull real-time, personalized data from internal servers into Braze messages.
• Act as the L2/L3 support for complex technical issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation detailing data flows, API mappings, and SDK configurations to enable the marketing and CRM teams.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years of dedicated experience in marketing technology, solutions architecture, or software engineering with a deep, proven specialization in Braze.
• Braze Certified Developer / Technical Specialist
• Deep understanding of the Braze Web, iOS, and Android SDKs, including initialization, push token registration, in-app message customization, and background processing.
• Strong capability with RESTful APIs, JSON, and server-to-server integrations. Extensive experience using tools like Postman or cURL.
• Mastery of Braze Liquid templating, specifically utilizing Connected Content for complex API-driven personalization.
• Experience configuring Braze Currents to export event data into external data lakes.
• Ability to translate complex technical constraints into actionable business solutions, serving as the bridge between non-technical marketers and software engineers.
• Braze Certified Marketing Specialist or Practitioner
• Strong practical knowledge of Braze Canvas, Campaigns, segmentation, Liquid, Connected Content, Content Blocks, Catalogs, APIs, webhooks, custom events/attributes, and Currents.
