Job summary

Equitas Small Finance Bank invites applications for a role focused on delivering high quality vehicle finance products to clients in a fair and transparent manner. The candidate will source, evaluate and process finance proposals for new commercial vehicles.

Key to success is building strong relationships with customers, dealers and internal teams, ensuring timely documentation, regulatory compliance and opportunities for cross-sell products. 3–6 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in vehicle finance or banking/NBFCs.
• Experience with used/new commercial vehicle finance and dealer networks preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English; regional language fluency is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop a consistent pipeline of applications from good quality customers for vehicle finance.
• Manage relationships with customers, dealers and internal teams; respond timely and professionally.
• Ensure timely documentation for loan proposals and compliance with RBI/regulatory requirements.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for savings, current accounts and other products.

Purpose of the role:

• To ensure high quality delivery of relevant vehicle finance products & services to our clients in a fair and transparent manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop consistent pipeline of applications from good quality customers who require finance for purchase of New Commercial Vehicles through direct sourcing, Dealers, market references etc.,
• Effectively manage relationships with all customers by responding to their requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all documentation and information related to loan proposals are obtained in a timely manner to practice ‘First Time Right’ principle.
• Actively generate & pass on leads for cross-sell products like Saving Accounts, Current Accounts, Term Deposits, FASTag (wherever applicable)
• Ensure 100% compliance to Policies & Processes and all regulatory matters of RBI and other statutory bodies

Desired Experience:

Number of years of experience (range): 3-6 years

• Type of companies/sector worked for: OEM / Dealer Sales / Banks/NBFCs, should have relevant experience used commercial vehicle finance .
• Responsibilities managed in the previous organizations: The applicant should have experience in Used Commercial vehicle finance, should have excellent contacts in the local vehicle finance market. Experience in understanding viability, vehicle types, dynamics of used commercial vehicle market is critical for this role.
• Languages: Working knowledge of English and fluency in regional language of the state applying for. Ability to speak in other regional languages would be an added advantage.
• Computer/technical skills (if any): Should be comfortable in using Excel (ability to analyze reports sent from Head Office) and email (ability to communicate clearly in written English).
