Branch Manager Gold Loan

Role Overview

The Branch Manager – Gold Loan will be responsible for managing overall branch operations, driving gold loan business, maintaining portfolio quality, and leading the branch team to achieve business and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Operations

• Manage day-to-day branch operations and ensure smooth and compliant functioning.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, processes, and regulatory guidelines.

Business Development

• Drive gold loan acquisition and achieve monthly and annual business targets.
• Develop the local market and generate new customer opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Portfolio & Risk Management

• Manage the gold loan portfolio and ensure portfolio quality.
• Oversee loan processing, disbursement, renewals, and collections.
• Ensure proper gold valuation and adherence to risk and compliance processes.
• Monitor overdue accounts and take appropriate corrective actions.

Team Management

• Lead, train, and motivate branch team members.
• Monitor individual and team performance against assigned targets.
• Ensure operational efficiency and timely achievement of business goals.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Experience: 3–7 years of relevant experience in banking/NBFC, preferably in Gold Loan or Branch Management.
• Strong experience in Gold Loan sales, branch operations, and team handling.
• Good understanding of gold valuation, loan processing, portfolio management, and collections.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer-handling skills.
• Good understanding of the local market and business development.
• Ability to manage branch targets and team performance effectively.
