Job summary

Poonawalla Fincorp is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee end-to-end branch operations, focusing on sales growth and profitability. You will drive field marketing, manage customer engagements, and ensure strict compliance in valuation of pledged gold assets.

The role requires 7+ years in gold loan or asset products with an MBA or equivalent degree. You will mentor staff, maintain strong collections, and coordinate with teams to optimize branch performance and product mix.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Product / Sales within Gold loan or asset products.
• MBA or equivalent qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and participate in field marketing activities to improve branch visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch and field level marketing to ensure healthy lead pipeline and growth.
• Engage customers and appraise gold ornaments for weight and purity per policy.
• Safeguard pledged ornaments as joint custodian of the Vault.
• Verify KYC documents, process loan disbursals and request applications.
• Process foreclosure, partial release, closure, and interest payments as requested.
• Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and customer payments.
• Maintain NPAs through diligent follow-ups and collections.
• Coordinate hiring, coaching, mentoring and training of staff with timely feedback.
• Prepare reports and actions for business growth and branch performance.
• Aim to increase gold loan business and other third-party product sales.
• Ensure accurate valuation and full compliance at the branch.

Job Summary

Responsible for overall branch operations, performance and profitability of the branch.

Responsibilities

• Drive and participate in field marketing activities with the team to improve branch visibility.
• Plan, conduct and monitor the branch and field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement and appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledge ornaments as per company policy.
• Verify customer KYC documents, application requests and initiate loan disbursals.
• Process foreclosure, part release, closure, interest payment transactions based on customer requests.
• Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and accept customer payments.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch and for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality and performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase gold loan business plus various other third party products.
• Responsible for correct valuation and maintenance of 100 percent process compliance at branch.
• Manage error free valuation and appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Product / Sales experience in Gold loan or other Asset products
• Post Graduate Degree in MBA or Equivalent
