Job summary

Poonawalla Fincorp is hiring a Branch Manager in Maharashtra to lead end-to-end branch operations and drive profitability. You will oversee customer engagement, KYC, loan disbursals, and asset valuation of pledged gold, while ensuring compliance and secure vault management.

You will mentor staff, plan field marketing activities to generate leads, and work to increase gold loan business alongside cross-selling third-party products. An MBA and 7+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

• 7+ years of product / sales experience in gold loan or other asset products

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations and profitability
• Lead field marketing to boost branch visibility
• Plan and monitor field marketing to maintain a healthy lead pipeline and growth
• Focus on customer engagement and proper weight/purity assessment of pledged gold
• Guard vault and safekeeping of pledged ornaments
• Verify KYC documents, process loan disbursals
• Process foreclosure, part release, closure, and interest payments
• Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and payments
• Control NPAs through follow-ups on interest collections
• Plan for smooth branch functioning and teamwork
• Hire, coach, mentor and train employees with timely feedback
• Maintain quality performance and prepare reports to drive growth
• Increase gold loan business and cross-sell third-party products
• Ensure 100% process compliance in valuation of pledged gold

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive participate in field marketing activities with the team to improve branch visibility.
• Plan, conduct monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledge ornaments as per company policy.
• Verify customer KYC documents, application requests and initiate loan disbursals.
• Process foreclosure, part release, closure, interest payment transactions based on customer requests.
• Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and accept customer payments.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase gold loan business plus various other third-party products.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.

Experience Qualifications
