Job summary

Poonawalla Fincorp is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee overall branch operations and drive profitability. You will coordinate field marketing, manage customer engagement, and ensure strict KYC compliance.

You will also supervise vault custody, loan disbursal, foreclosures, and collections while mentoring staff to achieve growth targets and improve NPAs control.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product/sales experience in gold loan or asset products.
• Post graduate MBA or equivalent degree.

Responsibilities

• Drive field marketing activities to improve branch visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch field level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads and business growth.
• Engage customers and assess gold ornaments for weight and purity as per policy.
• Joint custodian of the vault and safekeeping of pledged ornaments.
• Verify customer KYC documents, process loan disbursals and requests.
• Process foreclosure, part release, closure and interest payments as requested.
• Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and customer payments.
• Maintain NPAs through strong follow-ups and collections.
• Hire, coach, mentor and provide timely feedback to employees.
• Prepare branch reports and take actions for business growth and quality performance.
• Increase gold loan business and other third-party products.
• Ensure correct valuation and 100% process compliance at branch.
• Maintain error-free valuation of pledged ornaments with purity assessment.

Job description

Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.

Principal Accountabilities

• Drive participate in field marketing activities with the team to improve branch visibility.
• Plan, conduct monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledge ornaments as per company policy.
• Verify customer KYC documents, application requests and initiate loan disbursals.
• Process foreclosure, part release, closure, interest payment transactions based on customer requests.
• Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and accept customer payments.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase gold loan business plus various other third-party products.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• 7+ years of Product / Sales experience in Gold loan or other Asset products
• Post Graduate Degree in MBA or Equivalent
