Job summary

Poonawalla Fincorp is seeking a senior branch operations leader responsible for all aspects of branch performance, profitability and governance. The role drives field marketing, customer engagement and asset valuation to sustain growth and compliance.

The candidate will ensure vault security, oversee KYC, disbursals and foreclosures, manage NPAs, and coach a team to achieve high performance in a busy branch environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Product / Sales experience in Gold loan or other Asset products.
• Post Graduate Degree in MBA or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drive and participate in field marketing activities to improve branch visibility.
• Plan, conduct and monitor branch & field level marketing for healthy lead pipeline and growth.
• Focus on customer engagement and appraisal of pledged gold for weight and purity.
• Joint custodian of the Vault and safekeeping of pledged ornaments.
• Verify customer KYC documents and initiate loan disbursals.
• Process foreclosure, release, closure and interest payment transactions.
• Authorize disbursal, foreclosure, release and customer payments.
• Maintain NPAs through follow-ups for interest collections.
• Hire, coach, mentor, train employees and provide performance feedback.
• Maintain branch quality and performance; prepare reports for growth.
• Increase gold loan business and other third-party products.
• Ensure correct valuation and 100% process compliance at branch.
• Maintain error-free valuation and appraisal per policy.

Job Summary

Responsible for overall branch operations, performance & profitability of the branch.

Responsibilities

• Drive & participate in field marketing activities with the team to improve branch visibility.
• Plan, conduct & monitor the branch & field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion & branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledge ornaments as per company policy.
• Verify customer KYC documents, application requests and initiate loan disbursals.
• Process foreclosure, part release, closure, interest payment transactions based on customer requests.
• Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and accept customer payments.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch & for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality & performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase gold loan business plus various other third-party products.
