Job summary

Poonawalla Fincorp Limited is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee overall branch operations, performance and profitability in Maharashtra. The role involves driving field marketing, managing a healthy loan pipeline, and ensuring accurate valuation of pledged gold with policy compliance.

The candidate should have 7+ years of product/sales experience in gold loans or asset products and an MBA or equivalent qualification.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Product / Sales experience in Gold loan or other Asset products.

Responsibilities

• Drive and participate in field marketing activities to improve branch visibility.
• Plan, conduct and monitor branch and field level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads and business growth.
• Focus on customer engagement and appraisal of pledged gold with correct weight and purity per policy.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with safekeeping of pledged ornaments.
• Verify KYC documents and initiate loan disbursals.
• Process foreclosure, part release, and closure transactions as per customer requests.
• Authorize disbursal, foreclosure, release and customer payments.
• Maintain NPAs through strong follow-ups for interest collections.
• Plan for smooth branch functioning and team cohesiveness.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train employees with timely performance feedback.
• Maintain quality and performance, prepare reports, and drive business growth.
• Increase gold loan business and promote third-party products.
• Ensure 100% process compliance and accurate valuation and appraisal of pledged ornaments.

Job Summary

Responsible for overall branch operations, performance & profitability of the branch.

Responsibilities

• Drive & participate in field marketing activities with the team to improve branch visibility.
• Plan, conduct & monitor the branch & field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion & branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledge ornaments as per company policy.
• Verify customer KYC documents, application requests and initiate loan disbursals.
• Process foreclosure, part release, closure, interest payment transactions based on customer requests.
• Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and accept customer payments.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch & for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality & performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase gold loan business plus various other third-party products.
• Responsible for correct valuation & maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error-free valuation & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.

Qualifications
