Job summary

Kotak Mahindra Bank is seeking a Branch Manager in the Retail Liabilities vertical to drive business growth, ensure operational excellence, and deliver superior customer service at the Surat branch in Gujarat, India.

You will lead a high-performing team, manage profitability, compliance, and customer engagement, and promote cross-selling of financial products, including Mutual Funds and Insurance, to meet revenue and service targets.

Responsibilities

• Drive enhancement of the deposit pool from existing and new customers.
• Ensure high standards of customer service delivery across all touchpoints.
• Promote and achieve cross-selling targets for non-deposit products.
• Lead sales initiatives for Mutual Funds and Insurance products.
• Generate fee-based income through strategic product offerings.
• Oversee branch administration and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
• Foster a productive and motivated branch team environment.
• Take ownership of the branch’s Profit & Loss and break-even performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for product innovation and marketing initiatives.
