Job summary

Muthoot Fincorp invites applications for Branch Business Manager – Secured & Unsecured Lending Business in Tamil Nadu. Lead a team of RMs/BSMs and drive growth in secured and unsecured lending, including micro LAP and gold-backed loans.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in home mortgage lending, and the ability to manage portfolios and stakeholders at state/national levels.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience leading sales teams, with 2 years onroll team members.
• Experience in Home Loans / Mortgages, with team handling.
• Working knowledge of Affordable Home Loans / Micro LAP.
• Educational qualifications include UG/PG or MBA.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Motivate team of RO/RM/BSMs to achieve monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual budgets.
• Own & resolve early mortality, delinquencies and NPAs from new sourcing and existing portfolio.
• Empanel good quality referral partners to scale up micro LAP and gold-backed secured loans (Suvarna).
• Liaise with Credit and SMEs to clear loan proposals for faster decisioning.
• Cross-sell Insurance to loan customers to safeguard assets, health, and life.
• Be the face of Muthoot Fincorp for the location and its stakeholders.
• Suggest improvements to senior management for better customer experience.
• Monitor competition and report to Zonal/National teams.
• Work with branches for smoother disbursement and safekeeping of loans.
• Attract and retain high performers within the team.
• Coordinate with law authorities to resolve conflicts if any.

Main Tasks & Areas of Responsibility

• Lead & Motivate team of RO/RM/BSMs to build to Overachieve Monthly / Quarterly / Half Yearly / Annual Business Budget
• Own & resolve the early mortality, delinquencies and NPAs from new sourcing and existing portfolio.
• To find new micro markets and empanel good quality referral partners to scale up Micro LAP business & Gold backed secured business loan (Suvarna)
• To liaison with Credit, Subject Matter Experts at different levels to clear customers’ loan proposals for faster decisioning
• To Cross Sell Insurance effectively to the loan customers to safeguard their Property, Health & Life.
• To Be the Face of SULB Muthoot Fincorp for that Location for all practical purposes.
• To Constantly look out for opportunities for improve customer experience by giving inputs to the Sr. Management for addressing the unmet needs of the customer.
• To Watch closely the Competition activities and report the same to the Zonal and National teams.
• To Work closely with Muthoot Fincorp branches for smoother disbursement of Gold backed Secured Loans and their safekeep.
• To Attract & Retain High Performers in the Team.
• To effectively liaison with law authorities for resolving conflicts if any.

Skills and Exposure

• A result oriented individual with Positive Mental Attitude with Integrity, willing to put hardwork.
• Proven ability to Recruit and Retain high performing RO/RM/BSMs.
• Atleast 5 years experience in leading a team of Sales Exectives, Team Leaders, with atleast 2 years of Onroll team members.
• Having good working knowledge on Lower & Middle Income Customer Segments, having worked in similar role in an Affordable Housing or NBFC, with minimum 2 years of similar exposure.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to Work & Deliver business targets under pressure
• Working knowledge of Collections/ Recoveries.
• Be Accountable for Portfolio Quality of the Location.

Special Requirements (If any)

Direct team managing experience mandatory

Working knowledge of Affordable Home Loans / Micro LAP business exposure, preferable.
