Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking an Engineer to lead body integrated systems design for tractor cabins and vehicle interfaces. The role demands knowledge of complete new product development, sheet metal, plastics and rubber parts, and 3‑D layout creation using UG NX and Team Centre Engineering.

You will apply DFMEA, DFM, DFA and GD&T, review virtual simulations and technical documents, and ensure assembly and serviceability needs are met.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of complete new product development.
• Experience in tractor cabin / vehicle systems and its applications.
• Design experience of Sheetmetal, Plastic/Trims, Rubbers parts etc.
• Knowledge of design, testing and validation of tractor Cabin.
• Expertise in UG NX & Team Centre Engineering
• Knowledge & should have worked in 1 complete project with design tools like DFMEA, DFM,DFA, DFS & GD&T
• Knowledge of manufacturing process of sheet metal, Rubber and plastic parts.
• 3-D layout preparation, 2-D drawing preperation.
• Review & monitoring technical documents like virtual simulation, Standards & homologation requirements to meet the design spec's.
• Understanding Assembly and Serviceability requirement in tractor.

Industry Preferred Tractor / Automotive Qualifications B.E / B. Tech in Automotive/Mechanical General Requirements

• Should have good analytical skill while analyzing technical data / information
• knowledge of Tractor systems & its functionality
• Good knowledge of MS-Office utilities like: Word, Power point, Excel.

Functional Requirements : Expert in Sheet metal, plastic and Rubber part design and development.

Expertise in UG- NX software and surface modelling.
