What you will do
- Lead global Data Center Building Management System (BMS) engineering projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, customer requirements, and account-specific standards.
- Own and execute projects throughout the entire lifecycle, serving as the first point of escalation for technical and project-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to data center-specific engineering and project execution processes and maintain high quality standards through a "First Time Right" approach.
- Deliver projects on schedule to achieve operational excellence and maximize customer satisfaction.
How you will do it
- Review project inputs like MEP drawings and engineering submittals to generate deliverables for systems covered in the datacenter.
- Configure software programs for supervisory and DDC-level controllers.
- Simulate software and generate validation reports in preparation for the software commissioning package.
- Prepare FAT, FWT, and SAT test scripts for software validation.
- Provide demo sessions to end customers to check software functionality.
- Optimize database with Trend, Alarm, and Point COV management.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for RFI clarification and progress tracking.
- Perform factory FWT tests and provide remote/on-site support for site commissioning activities.
- Guide site teams with troubleshooting, control loop tuning, and test scripts.
- Integrate 3rd-party controllers with communication protocols such as BACnet IP, Modbus, and troubleshoot using tools like Wireshark and ModScan.
- Ensure quality assurance and defect-free software package delivery.
- Adhere to processes and guidelines to execute projects within timeline.
- Support sales during pre-bid stage by providing and validating control solutions for datacenter projects.
