Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited is seeking an experienced architect to design and deliver BMS HW systems for energy storage applications. You will own modules end-to-end, including architecture, layout, and compliance, while engaging with customers to provide robust solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in digital/analog circuits, BMS for Li-ion batteries, EMC/EMI considerations, and collaboration with global customers.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MTech in Electrical/Electronics engineering.
• 14–16 years of experience in BMS/ESS design.
• Demonstrated BMS development for energy storage/ESS.
• Strong digital and analog circuit design knowledge (ADC/DAC/OP-amps).
• Familiarity with regulatory Li-ion battery standards (UL9540/UL1973/IEC62619/IEC60730).
• PCB layout constraints knowledge.
• Analog front-end design for Li-ion batteries.
• Experience with simulation tools (P-Spice, MATLAB, Mathcad).
• Experience with FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience with sensing technologies (temperature, voltage sensors).
• Hardware peripherals and communication circuit design experience.
• Power supply design experience.
• MOSFET driving experience.
• Experience working with global customers.

Job Description

You will be an architect in designing and BMS HW system for a BESS domain

You will have exposure to state-of-the-art designing, layout, compliance, EMI-EMC aspects

You would be own the responsibility of delivering modules/systems on-time, at quality.

You are expected to be in a customer-facing role in providing solutions to complex usecases on a day-to-day basis and working with cross-functional teams

Mandatory/requires Skills

• Demonstrated experience developing BMS for energy storage/ESS
• Rich hands-on experience in architecting Power Electronics concepts for BMS
• Experience and strong design knowledge of Digital circuit design, Analog circuit design, ADC, DACs, OP Amps, Micro-processors, Micro-controllers & DSPs, etc.
• Knowledge of Regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries for Energy storage applicationsuch as UL9540/UL1973/IEC62619/IEC 60730, etc
• Knowledge of PCB layout constraints
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Analog Front End circuit design for Li-ion batteries
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience using simulation tools (for example P-Spice, Matlab, Mathcad)
• Experience with FMEA and Root Cause Analysis
• Experience working with various Sensing Technologies(ex: Temp Sensor, Voltage sensor, etc.)
• Experience working with hardware peripherals and communication ckt design.
• Experience in Power Supply Design
• Experience working withMOSFET driving,
• Experience working with global customers

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Safety Regulatory standards like IEC61508, ISO26262 when building HW designs)
