Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a BIW Design Engineer for UGNX Under Body to design and develop body-in-white components. The role involves creating 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings according to stringent automotive requirements.

You will perform design changes, ECN/ECR, and engineering modifications while checking interfaces and packaging feasibility. Collaboration with manufacturing, CAE and other teams is essential to deliver compliant designs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of BIW design experience.
• Proficient with Siemens NX/UGNX.
• Understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings per design requirements.
• Work on Under Body components such as Floor, Cross Members, Long Members, Front/Rear Under Body, Brackets, Reinforcements.
• Perform design changes, ECN/ECR and engineering modifications.
• Check component interfaces, packaging and assembly feasibility.
• Perform DMU / clearance checks and support design validation.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, tooling, CAE and other design teams.
• Support DFM/DFA activities and resolve design/manufacturing issues.
• Prepare design documentation, drawings and release packages.
• Ensure designs comply with OEM standards and project requirements.
