Job summary

Vrinda International seeks an experienced BIOS Development Engineer to join our core hardware team in Bengaluru. You will design and implement x86 BIOS/UEFI features, drive platform bring-up, and work across SOCs and firmware layers to ensure robust boot processes.

The role requires deep C programming, hands-on development with BIOS codebases (AMI, Insyde, Phoenix, coreboot, EDK II), and strong knowledge of PCIe, I2C, SPI, and memory training firmware.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in x86 BIOS/UEFI development.
• Strong expertise in C programming.
• Experience with BIOS codebases: AMI, Insyde, Phoenix, coreboot, EDK II.
• Expertise in BIOS boot stages – SEC, PEI, DXE, BDS.
• Knowledge of I2C, PCIe, SPI, eSPI, ACPI, SMM, IPMI, UEFI.
• Experience with platform bring-up and BIOS preparation.
• Familiarity with debugging tools: AMD HDT, BIOSDebugger, ITP, Arium.

We are looking for experienced BIOS Development Engineers with strong expertise in x86 BIOS/UEFI development, platform bring-up, and low-level firmware engineering.

Requirements
