Job summary

Lenovo Bengaluru is seeking an experienced engineer for x86/ARM server UEFI/BIOS development, with strong C skills and deep OS internals knowledge. You will design features, fix bugs, and collaborate with teams to meet customer requirements.

The role requires mentoring juniors and providing technical guidance across the hardware/firmware stack in a fast-paced environment at Lenovo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or similar field.
• Strong Server UEFI/BIOS development experience.
• Strong C coding skills.
• Good knowledge of processor architecture and OS internals.
• Knowledge of UEFI areas like SMBIOS, Boot Loaders, PCIe, Secure Boot, System Performance, etc.
• Excellent debugging skills with debugging tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multi-functional teams.
• Mentoring/developing junior staff members.
• Provides advice in technical/operational domain of specialization.

• Develop x86 and ARM server UEFI/BIOS features and fix bugs.

• Responsible for x86 and ARM server UEFI/BIOS development, including feature development and bug fixing.
• Working with internal team to design new product features into next generation.
• Working with internal team and end-customers to understand customer’s requirements.

Requirements
