Job summary

The ideal candidate has a B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering with 2–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication to liaise with clinical staff and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years hands-on experience in biomedical equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of medical devices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Basic documentation, reporting, and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Map and onboard new medical equipment with 100% accuracy in the equipment database.
• Install, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot biomedical equipment.
• Ensure optimum utilization and consumption of spare parts.
• Maintain detailed service records, including history, breakdowns, pending issues, and indent tracking.
• Coordinate with OEMs for warranty equipment and timely issue resolution.
• Provide technical support and training to clinical staff on usage and maintenance.
• Build relationships with customers and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Encourage customer feedback and appreciation letters via quality service.
• Prepare and submit daily service reports to the Department In-Charge (DI).
• Ensure timely completion of service activities per commitments and SLAs.
