Job summary

Buro Happold is seeking a BIM Engineer - Electrical in Mumbai to drive digital delivery of MEP electrical design. You will work within a multidisciplinary team on residential and commercial projects, coordinating BIM outputs and supporting the BIM manager.

The role requires strong knowledge of Revit, HAP, IES and related tools, with a preference for India-based high-rise experience and a collaborative, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BIM experience in electrical MEP
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Experience with HAP, IES, Revit, Dialux, Amtech
• Residential and commercial high-rise projects in India is preferred

Responsibilities

• Digital delivery of MEP models from initiation to close-out
• Support BIM manager in digital outputs and information sharing
• Task-level management of the BIM model
• Liaise with clients, engineers and design teams
• Develop and maintain content library for MEP
• Coordinate MEP deliverables and standardisation
• Support Revit skill development for the MEP team
• Contribute to project execution and teamwork

About The Opportunity

A Buildings BIM Engineer Electrical (MEP) plays an important role in the design delivery and design integration of projects delivered by the Building Services. Using technical experience and excellent people skills, the Buildings BIM Engineer Electrical (MEP) will be responsible for the digital delivery of the MEP systems design for projects. The collective team will produce multi-disciplinary designs and associated deliverables in an integrated and holistic manner using appropriate modelling and associated analytical software; Revit technicians play a key role in implementing the design and delivery process.

Your next role

• The digital delivery of MEP models and task information management of the MEP design from initiation to project close out
• Supporting the BIM manager in the delivery of digital outputs within project teams and the seamless sharing of information with other discipline teams
• Task level management of the BIM model
• Representing Buro Happold's in liaising with clients, engineers, and other design team members
• Develop and maintain excellent team relationships through successful project execution
• Support with development of a content library suitable for the MEP team and integration with the Buro Happold's standard library
• Coordinating the activities, output and standardisation of MEP deliverables
• Supporting development of Revit skills for MEP team

Your Skills And Experience

• Ideally be in the range of 5+ years’ experience range
• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering
• Experienced in Softwares such as HAP, IES, Revit, Dialux, Amtech and BIM platform
• Preference for engineers with experience in residential and commercial projects in India (High Rise Building)
