Job summary

Buro Happold in Mumbai is seeking a BIM Mechanical Modeler to drive digital delivery of MEP design and integration for building services projects. You will support the BIM manager, manage BIM tasks, and liaise with clients, engineers and design teams to ensure cohesive project delivery.

Proficiency in Revit, HAP, IES, Dialux and Amtech is preferred, with experience on residential and commercial high-rise projects in India being advantageous. An onsite, collaborative environment awaits.

Responsibilities

• The digital delivery of MEP models and task information management from initiation to project close out.
• Support the BIM manager in delivering digital outputs within project teams and ensure seamless information sharing with other disciplines.
• Manage BIM model tasks at the project level and coordinate with clients, engineers and design teams.
• Build and maintain strong team relationships through successful project execution.
• Develop and maintain a content library for the MEP team aligned with Buro Happold standards.

About the Opportunity

A BIM Mechanical Modeler plays an important role in the design delivery and design integration of projects delivered by the Building Services.

Using technical experience and excellent people skills, the BIM Mechanical Modeler (MEP) will be responsible for the digital delivery of the MEP systems design for projects.The collective team will produce multi-disciplinary designs and associated deliverables in an integrated and holistic manner using appropriate modelling and associated analytical software; BIM Modeler play a key role in implementing the design and delivery process.

Your next role

• The digital delivery of MEP models and task information management of the MEP design from initiation to project close out
• Supporting the BIM manager in the delivery of digital outputs within project teams and the seamless sharing of information with other discipline teams
• Task level management of the BIM model
• RepresentingBuro Happold's in liaising with clients, engineers, and other design team members
• Develop and maintain excellent team relationships through successful project execution
• Support with development of a content library suitable for the MEP team and integration with the Buro Happold's standard library
• Coordinating the activities, output and standardisation of MEP deliverables
• Supporting development of Revit skills for MEP team

Your skills and experience

• Experienced in Softwares such as HAP, IES, Revit, Dialux, Amtech and BIM platform
• Preference for engineers with experience in residential and commercial projects in India (High Rise Building)
