Job summary

SYSTRA India seeks a skilled BIM Modeller (HVAC) to develop and coordinate 3D BIM models for building projects. You will create accurate HVAC models, generate construction drawings, and support multidisciplinary coordination to ensure design alignment with BEP and project standards.

You will collaborate with other disciplines, extract quantities, and assist in updating models on site to reflect changes, delivering compliant drawings and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting, and piping layouts.
• Experience in BIM coordination and clash resolution.
• Familiar with ACC/BIM 360 and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and model accuracy.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HVAC BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Model HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, equipment, and ventilation systems.
• Generate plans, sections, elevations, shop drawings, and installation drawings from BIM models.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project standards, and quality requirements.
• Extract quantities and support project documentation and deliverables. Participate in coordination meetings and resolve model‑related issues.
• Support construction teams by updating models and incorporating site changes.

Context

CTR – Regional Technical Centre of Systra India takes care of the international production of major projects at Systra Group level. CTR team has expertise in design of High-Speed Rail, Metro, Conventional Rail, Bridges, Highways, Depots, Stations and Transport Planning. Starting from Feasibility/Concept stage to Detailed Design to IFC/Shop drawings, the disciplines involved have experience of designing in accordance with various international codes and delivered projects across the world.

CTR team has successfully delivered some major projects in UK, UAE, Tanzania, KSA, Australia, Canada and Denmark. One of the major achievements of India CTR team has been the design of HS2 project in UK. We played an instrumental role in delivering 3 major Sublots on HS2 with our teams proactively engaging with Front Office in UK and delivering beyond client expectations. This resulted in India team receiving many accolades from the contractor BBV and client HS2.

CTR team in India is proficient in working on multi-disciplinary projects integrating Design, BIM and Drawing production in a seamless workflow incorporating different software. The technical and management teams within CTR get an opportunity to work and interact with other CTR teams within Systra Group from Paris, Poland, Dubai, Philippines and Brazil.
