Job summary

AECOM is seeking a BIM Modeler - Civil 3D in Bengaluru/Bangalore to develop detailed 3D models of underground utilities and prepare construction-ready drawings. The role requires Civil 3D proficiency, strong knowledge of municipal standards, and collaboration with project teams for accurate as-built representations.

The position reports to the Enterprise Capabilities team and offers hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering , Civil Technology , or a related field.
• 3 - 10 years of experience in Civil 3D utility modeling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD , Civil 3D , and Navisworks.
• Experience with ACC , BIM 360 , or ProjectWise.
• Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models for underground utility networks using Civil 3D.
• Model wet and dry utilities including drainage, sewer, water, gas, telecom.
• Generate plan, profile, and cross-section drawings for construction and regulatory approvals.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve conflicts.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate existing/proposed conditions.
• Manage data in multi-user cloud platforms (ACC, ProjectWise).
• Customize object styles and part lists per project requirements.

Job Description

Develop detailed 3D models for underground utility networks using Autodesk Civil 3D . Model wet and dry utilities , including storm drainage, sanitary sewers, water distribution, gas, and telecom. Generate plan, profile, and cross-section drawings for construction and regulatory approvals. Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts using tools like Navisworks . Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate representation of existing and proposed conditions. Maintain model integrity and ensure as-built conditions are accurately reflected. Work within multi-user environments using cloud platforms (ACC, ProjectWise). Customize object styles, label styles, pipe network styles , and configure part lists as per project requirements. Support data management through shortcuts and drawing references.
