Job summary

AECOM is seeking a BIM Modeler- Civil 3D to join our Enterprise Capabilities team in Bangalore, Gurugram. The role focuses on developing 3D models for underground utilities, producing plan and cross-section drawings for approvals, and performing clash checks in a multi-user cloud environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–10 years of Civil 3D experience, strong AutoCAD/Navisworks skills, and knowledge of ACC or ProjectWise, with a solid grasp of municipal infrastructure standards and construction

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Technology or related field.
• 3–10 years of Civil 3D utility modeling experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Navisworks.
• Experience with ACC, BIM 360 or ProjectWise.
• Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models for underground utility networks using Autodesk Civil 3D; model wet and dry utilities (storm drainage, sanitary sewers, water, gas, telecom).
• Generate plan, profile and cross-section drawings for construction and regulatory approvals; perform clash detection using Navisworks.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate representation of existing and proposed conditions; maintain model integrity and reflect as-built conditions.
• Work in multi-user cloud environments (ACC, ProjectWise) and manage data references and drawing organization.
• Customize object styles, label styles, pipe networks and part lists per project requirements.

Job Description

• Develop detailed 3D models for underground utility networks using Autodesk Civil 3D . Model wet and dry utilities , including storm drainage, sanitary sewers, water distribution, gas, and telecom.
• Generate plan, profile, and cross-section drawings for construction and regulatory approvals. Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts using tools like Navisworks .
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate representation of existing and proposed conditions. Maintain model integrity and ensure as-built conditions are accurately reflected.
• Work within multi-user environments using cloud platforms (ACC, ProjectWise).
• Customize object styles, label styles, pipe network styles , and configure part lists as per project requirements. Support data management through shortcuts and drawing references.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering , Civil Technology , or a related field.
• 3 - 10 years of experience in Civil 3D utility modeling .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD , Civil 3D , and Navisworks .
• Experience with ACC , BIM 360 , or ProjectWise .
• Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards and construction documentation .
