Job summary

AECOM is seeking a BIM Modeling professional to join the Transportation team on airside, landside and structural projects. You will develop and coordinate BIM models using Civil 3D, Revit and Navisworks for airport infrastructure, roads, drainage and utilities.

You will integrate Civil 3D surfaces with Revit/Open Roads workflows, support BEP compliance, and participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings to resolve clashes and deliver LOD 200–400 models and associated drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of BIM modeling experience.
• At least 2 years in airport, highway, metro, railway, or large infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Civil 3D and Revit integration is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop BIM models for runways, taxiways, aprons, and airside components.
• Prepare Landside BIM models incl roads, parking, drainage.
• Develop structural BIM models for airside and landside structures.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and participate in multidisciplinary BIM meetings.
• Perform clash detection and maintain federated BIM models.
• Deliver LOD 200–400 models and related shop and coordination drawings.

• Coordinate with Structural Engineers for reinforcement and concrete modeling.
• Participate in multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks.
• Resolve interdisciplinary clashes.
• Maintain federated BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Maintain model version control.

Software Requirements

The candidate must possess working knowledge of:

• Autodesk Civil 3D

Working knowledge on Civil3D is preferable.

Experience
