Job summary

Tractebel in Gurugram is seeking a BIM Electrical Engineer to drive the BIM process for electrical systems across building projects. The role requires strong expertise in Revit and AutoCAD, and the ability to manage 3D BIM models with high detail.

You will coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure integrated electrical design, clash detection, and compliance with project requirements and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute.
• 4–6 years of professional BIM/electrical design experience.
• Certified BIM training (150 hours or more).
• Experience on urban infrastructure / master planning / buildings projects.
• Proficient in creating BIM models and coordinating with teams.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required.
• Develop and manage 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Revit.
• Coordinate and perform clash detection.
• Review electrical systems to meet technical, budget, and sustainability goals.
• Produce drawings concurrently with the Project Engineer.
• Draft engineering designs, shop drawings, architectural drawings using 2D/3D CAD/Revit systems.

Job Profile

The BIM Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the BIM process within Electrical systems. This position requires technical expertise and proficiency in BIM software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, etc. The BIM Electrical Engineer will work closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of the electrical systems within building projects.

Your Job functions

Your main duties include:

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required.


• Ability to work on BIM with at least 300 LOD.


• Develop and manage 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Autodesk Revit.


• Ability in edit/create Revit parametric families.


• Coordination and Clash Detection


• Review and ensure that all electrical systems meet the projects technical requirements, budget constraints, and sustainability goals.


• Produce a set of building drawings concurrently with the Project Engineer.


• Drafting engineering design, shop drawings, architectural drawings by using 2D, 3D, and CAD/Revit Structures and Revit Architecture/BIM system.

Your profile

• You hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute with minimum 4 to 6 years of professional experience.


• Specialized Certified training in BIM (150 Hours or more of Training)


• Worked on a project of Urban Infrastructure / Master Planning / Hydropower / Transmission /, Buildings.


• Preparation of BIM models for small and large projects.


• Interface with other divisions for output.


• Video from Revit Model for presentation purpose.


• Estimate and specifications for different projects.
