Job summary

Tata Projects is seeking a BIM specialist to lead standards development, implementation, and quality across all BIM files and models. The role involves guiding modelers in Revit Architecture, Civil & Structural and MEP environments from base to LOD 500, troubleshooting issues, and upskilling teammates.

The candidate will support and audit the project team, flag non-compliances, and help standardize digital delivery and BIM processes per ISO 19650, ensuring coherent data workflows across projects.

Qualifications

• BIM workflows, planning, execution, and administration across projects.
• Coordination of multidisciplinary teams in BIM-enabled delivery.
• Experience with digital delivery management and deliverables audits.
• Understanding of ISO 19650 and AIA standards for BIM.
• Knowledge of ROI creation and BIM model utilization.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Manage BIM standards development, implementation, and quality on all related files and models.

2. Provide guidance to BIM modelers on Revit Architecture, Civil & Structural and MEP 3D environment with model from base to LOD 500 or equivalent.

3. Troubleshoot any BIM related issues.

4. Training or upskilling colleagues in specific software programs

5. Supporting and auditing the project team and flagging non-compliances.

Working experience in BIM fields like - 4D, 5D, 6D, AR & VR, ACC Build, Model quality audit & BIM Clash Coordination, BOQ preparation, SAP integration with models for cost factor, WBS & classification systems standardization, COBie & Digital twin.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates having prior experince in following:

• BIM workflows Planning, implementation & Administration on all the projects.
• Projects Coordination, Digital Delivery management & Deliverables audit.
• IDD Workflow & BEP Creation, Implementation as per ISO 19650, AIA standards.
• Digital Deliverables Planning & Execution, coordinating with design & construction teams along with project consultants.
• Leading processes on change management for design & construction teams.
• Project BIM/VDC deliverables Quality Audit, Control & assurance.
• Digital delivery Collaboration, BIM Model Usage & ROI creation

VDC Processes Standardization & best practice approaches for BIM as per ISO 19650.
