Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a BIM Coordinator in Ahmedabad, India, to develop BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows across projects. You will lead BIM strategy, coordinate architectural, structural, MEP and infrastructure models, and ensure adherence to client requirements.

The role involves facilitating clash detection, conducting model audits, and producing construction documentation from BIM models, while managing the CDE and enabling 4D/5D integrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM execution plans, standards, protocols and workflows across projects.
• Lead BIM strategy and ensure adherence to project BIM requirements.
• Manage and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP and infrastructure BIM models.
• Facilitate clash detection and resolution using Navisworks, BIM 360, ACC or equivalent platforms.
• Oversee model audits, quality checks and compliance with project standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Generate and review construction documentation, shop drawings, quantity take-offs and visualizations from BIM models.
• Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) and digital project information.
• Drive 4D construction sequencing and 5D cost integration where applicable.
• Provide technical guidance, training and mentorship to BIM coordinators and modelers.
• Monitor emerging BIM technologies and recommend process improvements for enhanced project efficiency.
• Support project teams during design development, construction and handover phases.
