Job summary

Peoplefy Infosolutions in Mumbai (Airoli) is seeking a BIM Lead with 7+ years of experience to head a team of BIM engineers. The role focuses on BEP development, design coordination, and ensuring delivery of coordinated, clash-free BIM models for projects spanning US/UK/Middle East contexts.

You will oversee 4D/5D simulations, reporting, and schedule alignment, while mentoring engineers and ensuring compliance with project standards. This is a 5-day WFO role based in Airoli, Mumbai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture (required).
• 8+ years of BIM/VDC experience with leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience on US/UK/Middle East projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation, design coordination, and BIM execution lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of BIM engineers and coordinators, allocating resources, providing tech support, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
• Develop, implement, and manage the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project-specific BIM workflows.
• Establish BIM standards and manage Common Data Environment (ACC/BIM360).
• Lead design coordination and perform clash detection using Revit and Navisworks.
• Conduct BIM model audits to ensure compliance with LOD and project standards.
• Organize BIM coordination meetings, track clash resolutions, and deliver clash-free models.
• Review BIM deliverables, RFIs, changes, and as-built models for accuracy.
• Generate BIM reports, take-offs, schedules, and support 4D/5D simulations.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to meet milestones.
• Provide mentoring and training to BIM engineers while monitoring quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 510 BIM Engineers and Coordinators, overseeing resource allocation, technical support, quality control, and timely delivery of project milestones while fostering collaboration and professional development.
• Develop, implement, and manage the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project-specific BIM workflows.
• Establish BIM standards and best practices, and manage the Common Data Environment (ACC/BIM 360).
• Lead multidisciplinary design coordination and perform clash detection using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Conduct BIM model audits to ensure compliance with LOD requirements, project standards, and quality expectations.
• Organize and lead BIM coordination meetings, track clash resolutions, and ensure delivery of coordinated, clash-free models.
• Review BIM deliverables, shop drawings, RFIs, discrepancy reports, design changes, and as-built models for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate BIM reports, quantity take-offs, and schedules, and support 4D/5D BIM simulations for project planning and tracking.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of BIM milestones.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to BIM Engineers while monitoring project quality, productivity, and schedules.
