Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Global Technology Centre (GTC) in Mumbai seeks a BIM HVAC Designer to create and manage HVAC BIM models and drawings based on engineering inputs. You will generate 2D drawings from 3D models and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure clash-free models.

Apply your advanced CAD/BIM knowledge, read and interpret engineering drawings, and deliver high-quality designs with minimal supervision while adhering to industry and client CAD/BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Engineering Degree in Mechanical or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of experience in HVAC BIM/CAD design.
• Strong CAD/BIM knowledge and ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Your Role

• Create and manage HVAC BIM models & Drawings based on engineering inputs.
• Generate 2D drawings and documentation from 3D models.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated, clash-free models.
• Update models to reflect design changes and construction feedback.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM tools (e.g., Diroots, Pyrevit).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Understands and applies industry, client, and internal CAD/BIM standards.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specs.
• Able to use engineering calculations to create accurate drawings and 3D models.
• Knowledge of building design in multi-discipline, project-driven environments.
• Actively pursues self-development.
• Capable of checking and validating design work.
• Confident in presenting technical work.
• Familiar with standard codes and EDMS tools.
• Flexible with tasks and work locations.
• Delivers assigned tasks on time and within budget.

• BIM HVAC Designer with relevant Diploma/Engineering as required.
• Deliver high-quality HVAC BIM and CAD models/drawings with minimal supervision.
• Diploma or Engineering Degree in Mechanical or related discipline with 10-15 years of experience
