Job summary

Egis is seeking a skilled BIM Designer (Roads & Highways) to join our infrastructure team in India. You will create and manage Civil 3D BIM models, ensuring efficient design processes and high-quality deliverables for complex road projects.

The role requires a strong background in CAD/BIM for roads and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Navisworks, and BIM certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of CAD/BIM experience for roads/infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Navisworks.
• Strong 3D modelling and visualization skills.
• BIM certification (Autodesk) preferred.
• Familiar with Middle East infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in Civil 3D for roads and highways deliverables.
• Develop and maintain 3D BIM road/highway models for infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing roads & highways related design drawing & Civil 3D BIM Models for various infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient design processes and high-quality deliverables.

• Proficient enough in handling Civil 3D for Roads and highways related deliverables
• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM roads and highways related models for infrastructure projects using industry-standard software
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate various design elements into cohesive BIM models
• Ensure BIM models comply with project requirements, standards, and best practices
• Generate accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates from BIM models
• Assist in the development and implementation of BIM workflows and standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members on BIM-related issues
• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk certifications) preferred
• Demonstrated experience in applying BIM standards and best practices
• Familiar with infrastructure projects in Middle East region
