Job summary

Egis is seeking a skilled BIM Designer (Roads & Highways) to join our team. You will create and manage roads & highways BIM models for infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient design processes and high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities include developing 3D road models, collaborating across teams, and ensuring compliance with BIM standards. Proficiency in Civil 3D/Navisworks and a Civil Eng degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in CAD/BIM for roads infrastructure.
• Proficient in Civil 3D and Navisworks.
• Strong 3D modelling and visualization skills.
• Knowledge of infrastructure design principles and construction processes.
• Experience with CAD 2D drawings.
• BIM certification preferred.
• Familiar with infrastructure projects in Middle East region.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing roads & highways related design drawing & Civil 3D BIM Models for various infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient design processes and high-quality deliverables.

• Proficient enough in handling Civil 3D for Roads and highways related deliverables
• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM roads and highways related models for infrastructure projects using industry-standard software
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate various design elements into cohesive BIM models
• Ensure BIM models comply with project requirements, standards, and best practices
• Generate accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates from BIM models
• Assist in the development and implementation of BIM workflows and standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members on BIM-related issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/ Diploma degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in CAD/BIM (Roads) for infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and Navisworks
• Strong 3D modelling and visualisation skills
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure design principles and construction processes
• Familiarity with CAD software and ability to work with 2D drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk certifications) preferred
• Demonstrated experience in applying BIM standards and best practices
• Familiar with infrastructure projects in Middle East region
