Job summary

Axium Global is hiring a BIM Designer – Electrical (MEP) to develop and maintain 3D BIM models and documentation for electrical systems on flagship projects. Based at the Andheri Delivery Centre in Mumbai, you will coordinate with architects and engineers and work with international clients to ensure clash‑free delivery.

You will contribute to model building for lighting, power, and fire alarm systems, perform clash detection, and ensure compliance with global standards.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• ITI/NCTVT Certified Electrical Draftsman with relevant experience will be considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical design with hands‑on BIM modelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and other electrical systems.
• Coordinate electrical designs with Mechanical, Plumbing, and other disciplines to minimize clashes.
• Prepare construction documents, shop drawings, and technical documentation.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, and other stakeholders.
• Review and update models as per project requirements and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Job Description

The BIM Designer – Electrical (MEP) will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed 3D BIM models and technical documentation for electrical systems in building projects. The role involves coordinating with MEP teams, architects, engineers, and international clients to ensure accurate and clash‑free project delivery.

The position is based at Axium Global’s Delivery Centre, Andheri, Mumbai, working on flagship projects for leading MEP design consulting firms across the UK, USA, Australia, and UAE.
