Job summary

ByBiTech – Better Build Digitally is seeking a BIM Coordinator to work on-site in Chennai/Coimbatore region, coordinating models and ensuring data integrity across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Qualifications

• Strong BIM and BIM Coordination skills including model setup, management and clash detection.
• Foundational knowledge in Architecture and multidisciplinary design workflows.
• Experience with MEP systems within BIM environments.
• Project management capabilities to plan tasks and coordinate stakeholders.
• Proficiency in BIM software tools (Revit, Navisworks) and CDE familiarity.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Effective on-site communication and collaboration with diverse teams.

Role Description

The BIM Coordinator will work full time on‑site in Chenna/Coimbatorei, supporting project teams with end‑to‑end BIM coordination activities. Day‑to‑day tasks include setting up and managing BIM models, coordinating multidisciplinary design inputs, and ensuring data integrity across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. The role involves clash detection, issue tracking, and resolving coordination conflicts, as well as preparing and maintaining BIM documentation and standards in line with project and client requirements. The BIM Coordinator will collaborate closely with project managers and design teams, assist in BIM implementation and workflows, and contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and BIM Coordination, including model setup, management, and clash detection.
• Foundational knowledge in Architecture and understanding of multidisciplinary building design workflows.
• Experience working with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within BIM environments.
• Project Management capabilities to plan tasks, track progress, and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in BIM software tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent) and familiarity with common data environments (CDE).
• Relevant diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively on‑site, and commitment to quality and on‑time delivery.
