Job summary

INI Design Studio in India is seeking a BIM Architect with strong Autodesk Revit expertise to join our architectural design team, focusing on education and institutional projects such as universities, academic buildings, schools, and libraries. You will model, document, and coordinate in a BIM environment to deliver high-quality designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (as per ad).
• 3–6 years of professional experience in architectural BIM and Revit-based project delivery.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and architectural modelling.
• Experience with AutoCAD; Navisworks and ACC/BIM 360 is an advantage.
• Experience with large-scale institutional, education projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and ISO 19650 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed architectural BIM models in Autodesk Revit.
• Model projects from Concept through Schematic Design to Construction Documentation.
• Prepare plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules from the BIM model.
• Develop and manage Revit families, templates, worksets, views, and project standards.
• Coordinate architectural models with Structural, MEPF, Landscape, Interior, Façade, and other consultants.
• Participate in BIM coordination, clash detection, model reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ensure model accuracy, constructability, and documentation quality.
• Prepare and coordinate GFC/construction drawing packages.
• Support project teams with model updates, RFIs, shop drawing reviews.
• Follow BIM standards, workflows, naming conventions, and quality-control procedures.
• Contribute to improving BIM workflows and modelling efficiency.

About the Role

We are looking for a BIM Architect with strong Autodesk Revit expertise to join our architectural design team, primarily working on education and institutional projects such as universities, academic buildings, schools, research facilities, hostels, libraries, and campus developments.

The ideal candidate should have strong architectural knowledge combined with hands‑on experience in BIM modelling, documentation, coordination, and Revit-based project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed architectural BIM models in Autodesk Revit.
• Model projects from Concept / Schematic Design through GFC and Construction Documentation.
• Prepare plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and other documentation from the BIM model.
• Develop and manage Revit families, templates, worksets, views, and project standards.
• Coordinate architectural models with Structural, MEPF, Landscape, Interior, Façade, and other consultants.
• Participate in BIM coordination, clash detection, model reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ensure model accuracy, consistency, constructability, and documentation quality.
• Prepare and coordinate GFC / construction drawing packages.
• Support project teams with model updates, RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and construction-stage coordination.
• Follow project BIM standards, workflows, naming conventions, and quality-control procedures.
• Contribute to improving BIM workflows and modelling efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• 3–6 years of professional experience, preferably in architectural BIM and Revit-based project delivery.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and architectural modelling.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD; Navisworks and ACC/BIM 360 experience is an advantage.
• Experience with large-scale institutional, education, or campus projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of architectural construction, materials, detailing, and building systems.
• Experience coordinating Structural and MEPF models.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and ISO 19650 is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, coordination, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
