Job summary

Deloitte US-India Offices is seeking an experienced BigCommerce Engineer to design, build, and maintain ecommerce storefronts and integrations. You will work at the intersection of frontend storefront development, backend API integrations, and platform architecture to deliver a fast, reliable, and conversion-focused shopping experience.

Responsibilities include building custom storefronts with BigCommerce Stencil, leveraging REST/GraphQL APIs, integrating ERP/CRM/PIM/OMS, and optimizing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and customizing BigCommerce storefronts (custom development).
• Experience with developing microservices using Kotlin, following a Test Driven Development approach.
• Hands-on experience with BigCommerce's REST and GraphQL APIs (Catalog, Orders, Customers, Checkout).
• Experience integrating BigCommerce with external systems (ERP, CRM, marketing platforms, payment/shipping providers).
• Solid understanding of ecommerce concepts: cart/checkout flow, product catalog structure, pricing rules, promotions, and order lifecycle.
• Familiarity with headless/composable commerce approaches (if using BigCommerce as headless backend).
• Experience with version control (Git) and modern development workflows (CI/CD).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across frontend and backend layers.
