Job summary

Yabx is seeking a BI Analyst to collaborate with the business team to define requirements and deliver dashboards and reports across markets using Power BI and Metabase. You will own the BI Portal and build data pipelines to power new analytics.

Role requires 5+ years in BI/data roles, strong SQL, and experience with data quality, reconciliation, and fintech contexts. On-site in Gurugram, HR.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BI / Data Engineering / Data Analysis.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or equivalent.
• Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into dashboards/reports.
• Hands-on dashboards/reports with Power BI or Metabase.
• Experience building data pipelines/ETL (NiFi) for Data Warehouse bases.
• Experience monitoring data pipelines and ensuring data quality end-to-end.
• Experience with reconciliation with external parties (banks, telcos) for daily/monthly cycles.

Role- BI Analyst

What You’ll Do

• Work with the Business team to gather and define requirements for dashboards and reports
• Build and maintain dashboards & reports across markets on tools like Power BI / Metabase
• Own the development and ongoing management of the BI Portal
• Build data pipelines (e.g., in NiFi) to create base aggregates on the Data Warehouse that power new reports and dashboards
• Monitor ongoing pipelines and own data veracity/quality
• Work with Ops & DE teams to ensure pipelines stay up and running and the BI portal stays up to date
• Work with banks, payment gateways, and telcos on daily reconciliation
• Build automated processes for monthly recon and generate data for billing

What You’ll Need (Must Have)

• 5+ years of experience in BI / Data Engineering / Data Analysis
• Strong hands-on SQL skills (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or equivalent) for querying and managing large datasets
• Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into dashboards/reports
• Hands-on experience building and owning dashboards/reports on BI tools such as Power BI or Metabase
• Experience building data pipelines/ETL (e.g., Apache NiFi or similar) to create base aggregates on a Data Warehouse
• Experience monitoring data pipelines and owning data quality/accuracy end-to-end
• Experience with reconciliation processes, working with external parties (banks, payment gateways, telcos) on daily/monthly recon
• Experience building automated recon processes and preparing billing data
• Must have at least one of the following: (a) experience in marketing analytics, managing customer campaigns and segmentation, OR (b) experience in fintech / digital lending / banking / MFI / mobile money or a similarly regulated financial domain -- the deeper the financial/domain knowledge, the stronger the fit

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience with PySpark / HDFS for big data processing
• Working knowledge of Python (used internally by team members to build automation tooling -- not mandatory)
