Manufacturing in Coimbatore (Annur) is seeking a dedicated Bending Operator cum Setter to handle machine setup, operation, and quality checks for bending components. The role requires reading drawings, setting tooling, and maintaining safety on the shop floor.

The candidate will ensure dimensions align with specifications, adhere to production targets, and minimize waste while keeping 5S standards across the line.

Competenze

• Read engineering drawings and measure components with vernier caliper, tape, and angle gauge.
• Set up CNC/press bending machines per drawing and job requirements.
• Operate bending machines to meet specifications and production targets.
• Check finished parts for defects and adjust tooling/machine as needed.
• Maintain safety procedures and 5S housekeeping on the shop floor.

Bending Operator cum Setter – Job Description

• Machine Setup & Setting – Set and prepare CNC/press bending machines, including tooling, dies, and machine parameters as per drawing and job requirements.
• Machine Operation – Operate bending machines efficiently and produce components as per required dimensions, specifications, and production targets.
• Drawing & Measurement – Read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, measuring tape, and angle gauge to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Quality & Troubleshooting – Check the quality of finished components, identify bending defects, and make necessary machine/program/tool adjustments.
• Safety & Production – Follow safety procedures, maintain 5S and housekeeping, and ensure smooth production with minimum material wastage and machine downtime.
