Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services in Hyderabad seeks an experienced payments developer to design and maintain BASE24-eps modules and interfaces, leveraging C++ on Linux/Unix for ATM/POS processing and transaction routing.

The role requires strong BASE24-eps, C++, and ISO 8583 knowledge, with experience in payment switching and production support. You'll collaborate with analysts, QA, and clients in an Agile environment to deliver robust solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BASE24-eps modules and interfaces.
• Work on ATM, POS, Routing, IAUTH, SAF, Journal Processing, and Device Handler components.
• Develop and customize payment-switch solutions using C++ on Linux/Unix.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Debug application issues and resolve production incidents.
• Develop customer‑specific enhancements and product modifications.
• Work with ISO 8583 messages and payment transaction processing.
• Perform installation, configuration, integration, unit testing, and deployment activities.
• Support QA/UAT, production implementation, warranty, and production support.
• Support Visa/Mastercard scheme mandates and compliance changes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and client stakeholders.

• Work on ATM, POS, Routing, IAUTH, SAF, Journal Processing, and Device Handler components.
• Develop and customize payment-switch solutions using C++ on Linux/Unix.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Debug application issues and resolve production incidents.
• Develop customer‑specific enhancements and product modifications.
• Work with ISO 8583 messages and payment transaction processing.
• Perform installation, configuration, integration, unit testing, and deployment activities.
• Support QA/UAT, production implementation, warranty, and production support.

Preferred candidate profile

• 410+ years of experience in Payments/Banking and BASE24-eps development.
• Strong hands‑on experience in BASE24-eps, C++, and Linux/Unix.
• Good knowledge of ISO 8583 and payment switching architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with ATM/POS transaction processing and card authorization.
• Experience with IAUTH, SAF, Routing, Device Handlers, and Journal Processing.
• Knowledge of ACI UPF/IPF is preferred.
• Experience with EMV, acquiring/issuing systems, and payment networks is an advantage.
• Experience in production support, application debugging, and incident resolution.
• Familiarity with Postman and Asset testing tools.
• Good understanding of Visa/Mastercard mandates and payment certification.
• Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and client‑facing skills.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment is preferred.
