Raffles Udaipur is seeking a Barista Ambassador to join our coffee operations in Udaipur, India. You will be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional coffee while building meaningful customer connections and showcasing our specialty coffee culture.

Responsibilities include preparing espresso beverages, operating espresso equipment, educating customers on origins and brewing, and maintaining a clean, hygienic workspace. Weekend/holiday shifts and coffee training are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing espresso-based beverages and specialty drinks.
• Strong customer service with a welcoming approach.
• Basic latte art and beverage presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate in Hindi and English.

• Operate and maintain espresso machines and equipment for optimal performance.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista Ambassador to join our coffee operations team in Udaipur, India. As a Barista Ambassador, you will be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional coffee experiences while building meaningful connections with our customers. You will combine technical barista expertise with genuine passion for specialty coffee, serving as both a skilled beverage craftsperson and a brand advocate who inspires customers to appreciate quality coffee culture.

• Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages and specialty coffee drinks with precision and consistency
• Operate and maintain espresso machines and other coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance and beverage quality
• Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing personalized recommendations and building lasting relationships
• Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance their coffee experience
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment in compliance with food safety standards
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle cash and digital payments
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak and off-peak hours
• Represent the brand authentically by embodying company values and promoting specialty coffee culture
• Gather and communicate customer feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation techniques and customer service standards

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a barista or in a customer-facing coffee service role
• Proficiency in operating espresso machines and preparing specialty beverages (lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of coffee varieties, origins, and brewing methods
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse customers
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic cash handling
• Attention to detail and commitment to beverage consistency and presentation
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Barista certification or formal training in coffee preparation (preferred)
• Experience with latte art and specialty drink creation (preferred)
• Multilingual capabilities in Hindi and English (preferred)
• Social media engagement experience or interest in brand promotion (preferred)
• Mentoring or training experience with other team members (preferred)
